TIP of BOW

The only "real" Norse artifact Lee found was the tip of a compound bow (a Norse, not a Dorset tool). The bow tip was located under a bench against the wall. The bench was apparently a part of the original construction. Lee's conclusion were backed up by lengthy sections in his report.

Comment: The tip of the bow may not have been Norse after all. The tip of the bow may have been left by the "Big People" who built the stone walls before 535 AD. The Danes are the biggest people in Europe. (Paine, 2004)
